In short, CBD stands for cannabidiol [cah-nuh- bih-dye-ohl], a compound that naturally occurs in the hemp plant (Cannabis sativa L.). CBD is found in larger amounts in the hemp plant and unlike THC, CBD is non-psychoactive so you can take it with ease.

CBD is not a sedative so it will not make you feel drowsy, tired or lethargic so you can take it anytime, with ease.

No, CBD is not psychoactive so it will not get you high. Both CBD and THC are active cannabinoids in the hemp plant, however, the way they interact with the body is different. THC produces the euphoric or “high” effects, whereas CBD does not have any psychotropic or intoxicating properties so you can enjoy it with peace of mind.
