The CBII Recipe Book: Top 5 CBD-infused recipes

In addition to taking CBD oil under the tongue, did you know that it can also be incorporated into your daily meals? Not only is adding a few drops to your smoothie or post workout snack an easy way to incorporate CBD into your every day, but it's also a great way to disguise the taste if you're not a fan of the natural herbal flavour.
We’ve put together some mouth-watering CBD recipes for you to make and enjoy at home, from tasty protein-packed smoothies to homemade CBII-infused peanut butter. Simply add a few drops of CBII and you're good to go.

GREEN POWER SMOOTHIE - VEGAN
This tasty green smoothie is packed with calcium, manganese, magnesium, phosphorus, vitamins A, C, and E to set you up for the day ahead. Adding CBII CBD is optional and totally up to you.
- 1 banana (frozen)
- 1 cup almond milk (unsweetened)
- ½ cup mango – if in season (chopped)
- 2 large handfuls of baby spinach leaves
- ¼ cup / 60 ml pumpkin seeds
- 2 tbsp hemp hearts
- ½ scoop / 30 ml vanilla protein powder
- ¼ cup / 60 ml water
- 3 - 5 drops of 200 mg CBD oil
Put all of the ingredients except the CBD in a blender and mix until combined. Then add a few drops of CBD oil and give it a quick boost until it’s mixed in.
PEANUT BUTTER POWER PROTEIN SMOOTHIE - VEGAN


Our peanut butter and banana protein smoothie is a deliciously balanced CBD smoothie loaded with calcium, potassium, and fibre. Makes enough for two so you can share it or store it overnight or share it.
- 2 bananas (frozen)
- 4 – 6 tbsp peanut butter or pb2, or allergy-friendly sub
- 1 ½ to 2 cups almond milk (or alternative of choice)
- 1/8 tsp of salt
- 1/3 cup ground up oats (optional)
- Scoop of protein powder (optional)
- Up to 5 drops of 500 mg CBD oil
- Optional: vegan caramel sauce and chocolate chips
Put all of the ingredients except the CBD in a blender and mix until combined. Then add a few drops of CBD oil and give it a quick boost until it’s mixed in.
CBD-INFUSED PEANUT BUTTER


Peanut butter is a great ingredient to mix with CBD as it’s a good source of healthy protein and fats which helps with absorption.
You can make your own CBII-infused peanut butter CBD recipe or simply add a few drops to a scoop of peanut butter and you’re good to go!
- 2 cups dry, roasted peanuts
- 1 tbsp honey or syrup
- Pinch of salt
- 6 – 10 drops of 200 mg CBD oil or up to 5 drops of 500 mg CBD oil
Place the peanuts into a blender and combine into a paste. Stir in the honey, salt and homemade peanut butter on toast or with a bowl of oats.
NO-BAKE PROTEIN BALLS - VEGAN


These no-bake peanut butter and CBD protein balls are easy to make in all sorts of ways. You can substitute the toppings for absolutely anything you like.
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2/3 cup shredded coconut (unsweetened)
- ½ cup natural peanut butter or nut butter alternative
- ½ cup non dairy dark chocolate chips (optional)
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- ½ cup ground flax seeds and 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 – 2 scoops vegan protein powder (optional)
- Up to 5 drops of 500 mg CBD oil
Blend all ingredients until the batter forms a dough (approx. 30 seconds). Roll 2 tbsp into balls, place on a lined baking tray and leave to set in the fridge.
HOMEMADE RAW CHOCOLATE


These homemade chocolate bars can be made in raw chocolate form or brownie-like squares with any added extras you're craving.
- ½ cup coconut oil
- ¼ cup cocoa or cacao powder
- 3 tbsp coconut nectar, honey or maple syrup
- 1 tbsp peanut or almond butter
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 6 - 10 drops of 200 mg CBD oil
Mix all ingredients except the CBD in a large heat-proof bowl and place over a pan of gently simmering water. Stir until smooth.
Pour the melted chocolate into a lined tin and cool until it forms a dough. When cool, add a few drops of CBD oil and add the toppings (quinoa pops, nuts, coconut flakes, cacao nibs, etc). Press into a cookie tray and store in the freezer until set.
