In short, CBD stands for cannabidiol [cah-nuh- bih-dye-ohl], a compound that naturally occurs in the Cannabis sativa L. plant, otherwise known as hemp. CBD is found in larger amounts in the Cannabis sativa L. species and unlike THC, CBD is non-psychoactive so you can take it with ease.

CBD is not a sedative so it will not make you feel tired or lethargic, but simply relaxed.

CBD is not psychoactive so it will not get you high. Both CBD and THC are active cannabinoids in the cannabis plant, however, the way they interact with the body is different. THC produces the euphoric or “high” effects, whereas CBD does not have any psychotropic or intoxicating properties so you can enjoy it with peace of mind. Our CBD oils contain less than 0.2% of THC (the legal requirement).

Our CBD full spectrum oils come in two strengths - 200mg (2%) medium strength, and 500mg (5%) our highest strength. If you're new to CBD, we'd recommend the Discovery Duo CBD Oil Starter Kit which includes a week's supply of both strengths. Start with the 200mg and work your way up to the 500mg, comparing how you feel on each strength.

CBD oils are recommended for anyone over the age of 18 years, except for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding as advised by the Food Standards Agency.

CBII CBD oils are completely legal within the UK and are considered food supplements by the Food Standards Agency. CBII CBD oils are legal in the US. All states have their own Controlled Substances Acts (CSA) - please check your state if legalised.

Absolutely, you can take our CBD oils, capsules and/or gummies at the same time as long as you don’t exceed the Food Standards Agency’s recommendation of 70 mg of CBD per day. We recommend starting with the lower intake suggestion for both products and monitoring how you feel.
