In short, CBD stands for cannabidiol [cah-nuh- bih-dye-ohl], a compound that naturally occurs in the Cannabis sativa L. plant, otherwise known as hemp. CBD is found in larger amounts in the Cannabis sativa L. species and unlike THC, CBD is non-psychoactive so you can take it with ease.

CBD is not a sedative so it will not make you feel tired or lethargic, but simply relaxed.

CBD is not psychoactive so it will not get you high. Both CBD and THC are active cannabinoids in the cannabis plant, however, the way they interact with the body is different. Absolutely, you can take our CBD oils, capsules and/or gummies at the same time as long as you don’t exceed the Food Standards Agency’s recommendation of 70 mg of CBD per day. We recommend starting with the lower intake suggestion for both products and monitoring how you feel.

Any tinctures above 30% are potentially liable to crystallisation. This can be negated by warming tinctures slightly. This can be done by submerging the bottom of the bottle in warm (not hot) water for a few minutes. Although not ideal, it is the nature of high-strength tinctures (above 30% strength). From our own perspective, this happens when the tincture is sold in colder territories or during production in very cold weather. Submerging the bottom of the bottle in warm shouldn't affect the quality of the oil as per the data shown in the literature as long as extremely high temperatures are used this is why we suggest warm water only.
